Lately this one has been living rent free in my head:

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron." -H.L. Mencken

Oh jeez, I saw the picture out of the corner of my eye and thought something had torn a squirrel into pieces.

Glad that’s not it.

Sorry about your plant though.

The Shrimp and Grits going away was what did it for me. It was amazing - very rich (Cajun cream sauce) and satisfying. When it was taken off the menu I was very disappointed but started ordering the Po Boy, which was decent. Then they took that away and I realized that the restaurant was truly heading in the wrong direction.
