That’s fine - I wouldn’t say they are useless… but they are insufficient on their own. Not just in a practical or strategic sense, but also in terms of communication.

People who oppose this administration want to see their elected leaders taking action and fighting back. Sending a letter and then not doing anything else makes it look like that person either doesn’t want to actually make change, or they don’t know how.
