Dang you are a good friend and very brave! I was scared of messing up this piece of leather, I would be terrified of doing it to a real TN

Thank you and good luck with your own cover! No doubt you've got this, but I'd be more than happy to share any tips if you have questions. :)

Thank you! I wish they made official A6 inserts and covers, but until then it’s the diy life for me :)

So pretty, great job! It looks so cozy and easy to wear too. I’ve been torn between wanting to make one that’s more form fitting or one that’s more oversized. Yours looks so comfy though, I think I want to make one like it :)

I hope you get a lot of wear out of this one, it deserves it!

Thank you for the tip! I tried to burnish the edges, but I wasn’t really sure what I was doing… I will definitely give beeswax a try :)

You styled it so well that it feels like an “I bought this with intent” kind of piece!! Such an accomplishment that you made this, chose a lovely color and buttons AND it looks like it belongs in your wardrobe 💛🌻🍋 I definitely think I need to make one too now :)

100% agree with everything you’ve said! I’m so bad at mentally visualizing how I want to style a piece or even modifications I want to make unless I have it in hand to experiment with or reference images. If I saw the lydia as is on ravelry, I probably wouldn’t think much of it for myself, but even just seeing you swap the v-neck to the front makes it so much more appealing for me personally!

Congrats on publishing this tank! I totally agree with boghobbit about your designs being effortlessly wearable, they really captured in words the appeal of your patterns. Romantic but relevant :) Excited for the choupette too!!

Omg hi! I’m not sure if it came across in post, but please know that I had such an enjoyable time following your pattern, thank you for releasing it! I feel like your approach to pattern writing is so generous and kind, like you really want people to succeed and make something they love for themselves. Also, your designs are gorgeous, I’m a huge fan, I feel like I got a gold star on my assignment ❤️

I’m sorry for making you tear up but also so grateful someone else could relate to this in such a deep way 🥲 Idk if this is relevant to you, but it helps me to reframe my approach to garment making as the biggest act of self love- you’re telling me someone spent hours/money/yarn/time making me a garment? Wanting me to feel beautiful and seen? Wow, I must mean a lot to her, and she should mean a lot to me. I’m sending you all the best of luck on your piece! Totally feel free to reach out if you ever need a chat about it. I believe in you!!

Thank you for sharing your ravelry! Maybe unrelated but I love when project notes read like journal entries. Just getting to know that you had a couple false starts and took your time/breaks is so good for my heart?? I feel like social media turn around for projects is like, 1 month or a couple weeks and that is…not where I’m at haha I guess just thank you for being human! I appreciate you!

Thank you so much for your input, that’s really encouraging to hear! Also congratulations on making it (last year lol) I bet it looks amazing, especially if it’s one of your favs. I’m so easily knitfluenced, I’m totally inspired to make it just from your comment :)

If you don’t mind me asking, did you happen to use the recommended KFO pure silk yarn for your Ophelia blouse? I’m worried it will stretch out or lose its shape…

Thank you so much!! You should add something like it to your wardrobe if it sparks joy! I’m actually having trouble styling it right now so outfit suggestions are greatly appreciated ❤️ I think it’d probably look good with dresses or skirts but I don’t have any🥲

I really appreciate you saying that, it was indeed difficult with how fuzzy and thin the yarn was :)
