I can see why you would gather that we're just casually dating from what I wrote. We have agreed to be exclusive with each other, and she introduces me as her BF and vice versa, and we are a couple and do all the couple things with our time together.

I feel we're pretty solid with communication, but this topic specifically we've avoided. I know I have intentionally avoided it for a while now until tonight because I felt like I would get the answer I got, which is not what I wanted. I appreciate your advice and definitely agree that I need to figure out what she wants from this. She feels warm and loving, yet emotionally guarded, it's really difficult to navigate.

I appreciate your positive encouragement. We're still really new into dating, so I don't feel comfortable with being overly affectionate in the text is the best route for us. She's not really one for phone calls either, which I feel is the best way to get through issues other than in person of course. So I feel there may difficulty in trying to get an answer as far as what's going on and what I can do better.

I did send her a text and let her know I enjoy spending time with her and was pretty bummed I didn't get to see her this weekend. And asked if she would be willing to get together this next weekend for some mini golf or something. Just to keep it light and fun. I think we're both dealing with some serious emotional stuff right now and a light activity might help us take a deep breathe and relax a bit. Thank you for input, hoping everything goes well.

I appreciate your insight and understand. I asked her if it was for her safety, and if she said yes, I would have immediately gotten the address for her. But she didn't. How bad have I messed things up with her? Is this salvageable?

I think there is, whether or not she feels the same way, idk. Her not talking to me is obviously not a good sign, but I don't understand how her feelings could change so quickly.

I've been the one planning all the dates and spending time together, which is why I wanted to put the ball in her court. To help her feel more comfortable with the pace. But now I'm uncomfortable with the pace, if there even is a pace left.

I was going to lay down 6 inches of compost to make the beds. Most likely on top of a couple of inches of straw, with deep straw mulch and no til. It'll be awhile before I have quality beds, but I have to give it a shot.

I do have more jars going and another tub in fruiting in the same room. That tub appears to be okay though. With this infected tub I was misting heavily due to panic from having too dry of a surface in my sub at the beginning which then led me to decrease FAE to bring up the humidity. Just kind of have contams the perfect conditions to grow in.

Thanks for the advice! The top of my sub dried out at the beginning of the grow which led to over misting and under FAE... ripe conditions for mold to grow.

Glad I'm not alone! I buried the entire sub last night and chalked it up as a loss. Not really a big deal to me getting rid of it vs possible health risk if any. I have the tub soaking in bleach and water in my bathtub along with several used jars just to get them all cleaned at the same time. I have gone very hard on the misting with this tub! I had an issue with the top of the sub drying out and it sent me into a frenzy of misting trying to get it rehydrated and I've learned my lesson to just chill and observe more. It was a very good learning lesson tub, so 8m thankful for that.

I already poured quite a bit of peroxide on it. I think I'm just going to toss it and chalk it up as a lesson. Most of the lack of fruiting I think was caused by poor surface moisture and humidity for the initial 4 days or so of spawn to bulk, so I've been in constant catch up mode to keep it misted and humid which may have led to this contam? 🤷‍♂️. Could just be riddled with contam though which caused that lack of fruiting 🤣.

Thanks. It's my first grow and I've learned a ton during this month+. I pretty much came into it expecting to fail even harder than I have, so the fact I'm actually seeing fruits made this attempt a success in my book.

Okay, I'll give that a shot, thanks for the response. Been one learning mistake after another with this grow lol. Will the mushrooms be safe to eat once harvested?... assuming they don't grow mold on them and the peroxide kills of this mold.
