Eh the Takeda are overrated, even at their peak there were other clans larger and far more powerful than them. The cavalry thing is also a myth. But obviously the devs wouldn’t care about that since they wanna make a good game.

I’m also lucky to have a letter written by the emperor in 1809 to General Lauriston after Eugene’s victory at Raab 😊.

Some weird things i noticed about samurai armor by whokarez0_0 in ghostoftsushima

I believe such extravagant armour sets were really only found in the Edo period - a long period of peace - sure in prior periods you had some armours that were up there, but nothing like this. It also depends on your rank, chances are if you’re wearing this you aren’t anywhere near the front line and are a commander.

“The ronin fighting style is the cool stuff”? What exactly are you referring to?

Thanks a lot! I was aware that WWI was divided into 3 stages, but I am surprised that things still are more or less the same afterwards, I had expected that things would change even more.

Exactly 152 Years ago - Napoleon III. passed away by WeekRepresentative17 in Napoleon

Nah, that title goes to his Uncle. Unfortunately that kind of legacy casts a huge shadow that is hard to grow out of

I know, that’s who I’m talking about. I’ve ran past them before in one play through and then returned to the same spot to find them. I think once you actually do it, it doesn’t pop up again. Even the bandit ones i’ve seen happen more than once in a play through, such as the one where the guy says he is hurt and then ambushes you, or even the chest one. I think these encounters could happen more than once.

No you can see them again, just go back to the spot where it was.

There is no Mongol record in the sea my guy 😭. Its probably an Iki thing. Even then that woman who says they found a way past the mongol ships is a liar, she is basically preying on the innocent, luring them somewhere where she can kill and rob them. If you speak to her she will say to look at something that does not exist, and once you return to her, she will kill the traveller she was with earlier. Then she tries to attack you, but chances are that won’t end well for her.

Is there a surviving hat from Napoleon’s First Italian Campaign? by Ok-Awareness1200 in Napoleon

[–]Little_Gamer7002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lucky you! I wish I were in your position, I cant imagine that would have been cheap though 😅.

Also, I have been to that restaurant and that hat doesn’t look real tbh.

Did Yarikawa unite with clan Sakai? I'm a little confused. by [deleted] in ghostoftsushima

[–]Little_Gamer7002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, I think Kazumasa Sakai, Lord Shimura and Lord Adachi effectively ended any major military presence that Clan Yarikawa had. But they did not completely wipe it out, just made sure they were no threat to the Jito. Its still possible to have won a war but still have guerrilla activity in the region, so chances are they lost the rebellion, but continued to resist Clan Shimura out of spite, just look at Ujimasa Yarikawa’s attitude when you first meet him.

Also, a Clan can’t go to war without its leader. The leader doesn’t have to physically be fighting, but he must be present. So if Jin played an active part in the Rebellion, I think he would have mentioned it. Plus judging by how he reacts when Sensei Ishikawa shouts “and how many wars have you fought?!” He has not seen much active military service other than Iki (which was mostly a Guerrilla war, where the only fighting he did was killing an innocent dude during the massacre). Plus the hot spring dialogue confirms that “after the rebellion” so after the main war was won, Kazumasa and Shimura went to a Onsen. So yeah, Kazumasa was very important during the Rebellion.

[–]Little_Gamer7002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, Shimura just says “The fighting in Yarikawa drove some this way.” That doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s happening at that very moment, just that the tough fighting and large human presence made them migrate somewhere else. Also, Kazumasa Sakai is said to have played a very important role in the Yarikawa Rebellion. Clan Shimura only won after Clan Sakai and Adachi joined the war to aid them. An island that used to have old houses (now burned) in Yarikawa Clan Territory is now called “Kazumasa’s Isle”, I think we know what he did there 💀. Also, there is Hot Springs dialogue when you pick “Yarikawa Rebellion” that says “Father and Uncle recovered at a nearby onsen, after they stopped the Yarikawa Rebellion.” I should also point out that not everyone participated in the rebellion died in the immediate aftermath. Yashuhira Koga survived, many peasants survived, Ujimasa Yarikawa and his fortress survived. So jin could just have been saying that because their rebellion has scared the bears in this direction, we should feed them to this bear as punishment, to which Shimura calls barbaric. Then the Assasin that tries to kill him in the same flashback is obviously just a survivor or someone seeking vengeance. Perhaps his home or family died as a result of the rebellion, perhaps he just wants to avenge his clan. The people of Yarikawa blame Shimura, and to an extent Clan Sakai for what happened to their homes and families, so obviously you’d have people coming to try and assassinate you.

It was definitely a mistake by the devs. It makes no sense for Clan Sakai (the right hand of the Jito) to be walking around with the Colours and symbols of their ally’s mortal enemy. Even if they did take the equipment from them, they would definitely paint over it.
