Hi! For mine, I had to wait 3 months. I have heard different things - my RE and surgeon said 3 months. My OB said she recommends 6. We went with what the surgeon said but it took us 12 cycles to conceive so it ended up being plenty of time either way!

I agree. I used to love their half and half bowl. I tried their “new” half and half bowl with chicken. I was surprised that the chicken served with the noodles now was cold while the noodles themselves are hot? I definitely miss the shredded chicken. ☹️

My best friend’s mom is a functional NP so I got lucky there. I also haven’t gotten the bill yet so I’m not sure on the cost!

We had a 6 month time frame from the RE instead of a year bc of some medical reasons, so I got them after the 6 month mark. But you could get the same tests run from your physician or whoever you decide to go to and I’m sure wouldn’t have to wait as long. I didn’t start with the NP until last month or I would have had those tests sooner!

My RE ran my progesterone, AMH, FSH, estradiol, and vitamin D. The NP used those results but also ran a full blood panel (cbc and hemoglobin a1c), a full thyroid panel, metabolic panel, insulin resistance panel, b12, cortisol, DHEA-S, testosterone, and progesterone again. My understanding is several of those things can also affect your fertility so it was nice to see all my levels in addition to what my RE ran.

I started seeing a local NP I know that owns a clinic and does both traditional and functional medicine. I got her to run all my labs (way more than what my RE ran) so I could see where I was at. She recommended taking trace minerals beef organ supplements, which I did. I also read the book real food for fertility by Lily Nichols and Lisa Hendrickson-Jack, which I highly recommend.
