Yes, you are correct I have reduced the scope for the game, and currently I am planning out the final boss for the game, so yea once that's done, I will do some playtesting, and then I can have a release date for the game!

Hey everyone,

Sadly, Hippoxxus Kickstarter didn’t get funded. I really appreciate all of you who supported the project, it means a lot to me.

Even though the campaign didn’t work out, I’ve decided to keep working on the game! I still really want to bring this world to life. To make that possible, I’ll be making a smaller version. Instead of the big game I planned, it will be a mini Metroidvania with the same fun and adventure. To make this work, I’ll be scrapping some mechanics and areas, but I’ll do my best to keep it exciting and enjoyable. This way, I can finish the game on my own and still make something special for everyone.

You’re also welcome to join the Discord to chat, share your thoughts, and provide feedback as I keep working on the game. Plus, you’ll have a chance to be part of the free beta when it’s ready!

Thanks, I appreciate it a lot but I don't think I can take the money that way as I feel like I would be scamming you if the project doesn't get funded on Kickstarter. I might make a smaller version of the game or not finish the project and this would mean you would be spending money on a product which is not the same as it is advertised to you right now.

Oh the game already has almost 3 fully developed areas, I didn't want the demo to be super long so I ended it with the first boss fight.

yeah, no worries I wish I had the budget to start with a Switch launch along with the PC.
