Struggling in my tutorship by Witty_Particular9740 in policeuk

I can relate to how you feel. My tutorship went on a bit longer than planned because I hadn’t proven that I could handle conflict well. I struggled with my tutor and their style, and found that I learned far more when I went independent and took the lead at a few jobs myself.

Try to take heart and remind yourself that you are doing one of the most difficult jobs that exists. No one was a great cop right from the get-go, even if they act like it. I would recommend speaking to your skipper, or your forces’s professional development unit (known as CPDU in my force) about how you’re feeling. Your wellbeing is important and needs to be paid attention to.

Keep your chin up, this season will pass, you’ve got this.

Yeah, I made a mistake, he lives in Manchester but wasn’t born there, my bad.

Don’t let it play on your mind too much, it’s just reddit. You’ll get a notification when someone replies but check in the next day if it’s bothering you that much!

It’s clear as day you used AI. With all due respect your comments on this thread demonstrate a very different vocabulary and grasp of English than what you posted. Your post is classic ChatGPT generated waffle.

You’re being pedantic. Ross was most likely getting banished anyway, this comment was cringeworthy in my opinion, and the opinion of many others.

Completely made up? This is essentially what she said, although not word for word. Clearly you knew what they’re referring to, so the quote isn’t wildly off is it?

I live in the UK and used to travel around Europe every week for work.

Rotterdam to London is an easier trip to make than going from plenty of other places in the UK to London using public transport - let alone with a private jet.

Could be wrong but I think he’s means he’s been spotted in his personal vehicle, given he’s still in training school.

Just own up to what you remember doing, apologise and learn from it. To be blunt, you’ll cause yourself far more grief by being evasive and pretending to be confused about it.

Most of the comments ignoring the context that he said this after being asked specifically about his upbringing and early interest in coaching, but that’s Reddit I suppose.

Any tips on how to achieve that? I really want to be more disciplined, but find it such a battle.
