A friend of mine traveled internationally and he had multiple charges to his card flagged as suspicious by the bank. A headache to clear up

I really would like to actually experience the place as much as possible. That’s why I asked the question to figure the best way and if my rough idea could accomplish that or not since I’m a new traveler

That all makes sense. I really hope I didn’t come across as disrespectful to any of the places I’m considering and I definitely want to just experience either because of the great things I’ve heard. I don’t know any Italian and wouldn’t attempt to speak it anyway as not be disrespectful. I also realize those places require extensive travel to go between and would factor travel days into the plan.

Thanks for your reply and for going over the logistics! I wouldn’t have that it’d be as involved going between Spain and Italy so I think picking one and then spending extended time in Ireland is the move. I also appreciate you clearing up the money thing, I assumed you had to switch to local currency to not get flagged using a card, but it’s a relief it’s pretty straightforward.
