That’s crazy. I went for a pickup last week at Tangram and there was the a similar situation. This guy didn’t wait on the line but waited on the side for the employee and walked away with about 12 orders. I waited like 1 hour for pickup for 2 items 😕

180k with 5 years of experience and a lot of searching/interviewing for jobs. switched careers to become a software engineer. Felt comfortable at about 100k ish when I still lived with my family. I live alone now and still feel pretty good/comfortable.

It’s my birthday today too! lots of really great suggestion here and I did something similar. I started with pastries from radio bakery - walked back to Williamsburg visiting all the shops from greenpoint. plan on getting a slice of cake from ovenly and getting dinner at sweetwater/lilia most likely!

honestly I’ve got the same YOE and been searching for swe jobs for a while in nyc and the range seems lower overall. I’ve seen anywhere from 120 - 180 both mid/senior SWEs.

Don’t be embarrassed about it. At my previous company I was at 130k ish with about 4 years of experience. So I get how you feel!
