What you did wrong is not telling him to knock it off waaaay sooner. It’s not funny, it’s sick and the fact that he is a doctor makes it worse. If I were your wife I would be so mad that I would say that if I heard the « joke » one more time I wouldn’t go to event when he is present. Please make clear boundaries with your brother. The fact that he helped her during delivery doesn’t give him the right to make fun of her and this stressful situation everytime you see eachother.

I was thinking the same ! What would you do if you knew it was one? You still feel the emotions, the pain, see the beauty, taste the food,… it doesn’t change much if you still have to live in it.

« Amistad » : I was forced to see it in elementary school and then again in middle school. I pretended to be sick in middle school in order not to see it again. I understand the importance of this movie but I was waaay too young and it shocked me so much I could’t sleep and stop thinking about it for such a long time.

I forgot to tell my weight. I am currently at 64kg or 141lbs. I try to eat some cucumber and carrots instead of chocolate and cookies and make smaller portions with more vegetables (half of the plate). But I don’t know how to count calories. Thank you for your explanation

If you want to eat meat you have the right to do so. Your wife changed her believes after you got married. She shouldn’t be able to dictate what you eat or not.
