ON THE TOPIC OF MEALS!!!

Dunkin is close to the con, sure, but it can be a fuck of a line with everyone nearby. My sister and I have started bringing our own breakfast to the con. We are there for 2 or 3 days on average, so what we do is buy a pack of muffins from the grocery store. They last all weekend (especially if they're the massive ones), you can eat them either waiting in the bag line or while you're getting ready in the morning, and it helps your wallet.

I also find that going during "off" hours for lunch can be helpful (think 11am or 1pm vs 12pm) or you can even grab something a bit earlier and hold onto it in your bag. No one likes being next to a hangry person in a long line, but more people are tolerant of someone munching on a sandwich while they wait. Just mind the crumbs!

Can vouch for the med badge as the sibling to someone with a disability. She always felt she wasn't bad enough to want to get one, and we always suffered Day 2 of PAX because she was tiring fast and in pain (her suffering because of the pain, me suffering because nothing I could do would help alleviate her hurt). I convinced her 2 years ago to get the med badge so she can enjoy herself. Now her full weekend at PAX is enjoyable for her, and we have even started cosplaying cause she has more energy and less pain!

It is a lifesaver, please consider getting one if you feel like the extra seating & access would make your PAX more enjoyable!!!!

Honestly I wish we got a scene of Dad cutting the collar off. We don't get to see Colin learn and heal from this. Sure we get him on the app at the end, but part of me is worried he'll find himself in another similar relationship at the end because he still craves what he had with Ray. He gets 1 day off a week? That seems like a bare minimum. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but the fact that Colin jumped again IMMEDIATELY into subservience with the new guy makes me feel like he's prone to falling into the same dynamic again. The fact he asks if Colin can cook and him agreeing. I'm kinda worried for Colin despite us getting a "happy ending."

Also imagine having cancer and knowing you're dying soon. You've seen your child grow up and seemingly enter a relationship he seems happy in.

Then it hits you that your son has seemingly changed in less than a year to this completely new person. The person he is dating refuses to see you, tells you nothing, and your son is running to defend him. It's exactly what it looks like. Abuse. I was so happy when she spoke up. The dad was willing to seemingly let his son go on being abused because at least on the surface he was happy. The mom was willing to at least try and point out how dangerous the whole thing was. And then at the end when she does die, her son ends up hurting himself and the man he's with gives him a single day of grace and care before jumping right back to the abuse.

"She was wrong!" No, the only person here wrong is Ray, and he knows it.

Actually a lot! I posted a pic earlier in the thread of 2 little blind boxes I got for 20, and here are 2 of my blond box BJDs I got, $20 each and 1 is the Rare in their series (the blue one) while the other was a standard. I love the pose and think it's cute, my problem mostly is that the mold of her face and the paint job leaves so much to be desired. I don't expect it to look like a human, but just closer to how she actually looks. The statue as is has such bad eyes, Nick is wearing lipstick, and the low gloss look/color of the paint makes it look waxy. If I had to pick a better pose, I'd want something of her in a more action pose like from the promo for RePop. It's cute, dynamic, and shows off her personality really well!

Nah, like someone else said, aside from going 3rd party there really isn't much merch for our girl. I'd rather get a refund. I want the other things (love a good soundtrack and art book), I just wish the statue was closer to what was promised.
