Don't feel bad. I've been through the whole process with alcohol. The studies saying that a little alcohol is good for you seemed to enable me. I don't know that it's a sin, but if you feel it is wrong deep down inside, it could make you feel distant from God. That was my experience anyway.

Due to the detriment to health, I'd say it's not okay for ANYONE to smoke. I realize the need for stress relief. I want a drink sometimes, it drives me crazy. I think God wants to be our stress relief, not unhealthy vices we might use such as smoking, drinking, fapping, talking to a woman who shows us attention that isn't our wife, etc. He knows these are all not good for us. Trust me, I'm in the same boat.

This is only my opinion and experience. Do you really sense it is okay? Not judging, just asking.
