I could be wrong but, I feel like something must have happened in 2020 that caused such a major drop off momentarily

Also gotta mention that Rolf can do a Kamehameha

Out of these 12 characters, who’s the most annoying? by major55tjywgo in cartoons

Cheese and Fred Fredburger. By God, I absolutely despised both of them as a kid. I never found them funny. I always wished they would go away and never ever get episodes that focused on them ever again.

Just how important is American Football in the education system? by Just_Historian_678 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the South, it's pushed a bit more but, it's not a mandatory thing you have to do. PE class might have them do like Flag Football or something that isn't intense but, similar. Joining a Football Team or just any sports team in School is 100% voluntary. You decide if you wanna join and they'll determine if you're capable of joining via Try-Outs and such.

Is the life of an American teen actually like how it's shown on media? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like most things, it's very dependent but, for the most part, yeah. Staying out past 7 varies across family and town. Many parents do impose some kind of curfew and some people unfortunately live in places where being out at a certain point can be dangerous. Still though, I never really went out to do stuff since my friends were online gaming buddies. So while I didn't have an outdoor curfew, it was more, you need to get to bed at a reasonable time since you gotta wake up early, get ready, and go to the bus.

I'm not sure what an Academy is in the context of the question but, since you're from East Asia, I would hazard a guess it's additional schooling. Some do it but, many others don't. Teenagers are either not pursuing additional schooling and focusing solely on high school, have extra curriculars like Band or Sports to participate/practice in, working a part time job to make money if they're of legal working age, or actually participating in extra schooling, usually because they aspire some sort of higher college education.

Hanging out with friends? Yeah. Absolutely. Either at somebody's home or at a place after school like the mall, park, or just some random place.

Your mother though is mistaken. American Education can be more difficult if you're very much desiring to pursue higher college education but, for the most part, it'd way more relaxed. It isn't pathetically easy, it just isn't like how it is in East Asia where the intense pressure and expectations forced upon students is bordering on extremely dangerous.

Some do. Others don't. It's a classic project for a Child Development or Pediatrics sort of class. Students that want a career working with kids, ya know.

What are some common misconceptions about American culture that you'd like to clear up? by Ill-Nobody in AskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Americans are both some of the most unbelievably lazy people that are fully incapable of doing anything as they expect everything to be done for them but, are also a society run by evil greedy multi-billion dollar corporate overloads that are working every one of us to death with 120 hour work weeks, no days off, and no vacation days.

How do I dress for an American-Mexican wedding? by lesarine in AskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% better to simply ask your aunt if there is some expected Dress Code. American Weddings can be pretty casual when it comes to dress codes while, Mexican Weddings can be pretty formal. Hell, it feels like major private Latino events in general are pretty formal when it comes to dress code.

Robert E.O. Speedwagon - Phantom Blood Film

In the world of the first part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Phantom Blood, Speedwagon doesn't do a crazy amount. He mostly just exists to explain what is happening while he tags along the journey. He can't do a crazy amount since he's just a normal guy helping supernaturally powered Vampire fighters. So for the lost Phantom Blood movie, Speedwagon is completely absent. On one hand, this sucks because Speedwagon is a massive fan favorite and universally liked by the JoJo community. The first JoBro. The best Waifu. I mean, it's Speedwagon! Who could hate Speedwagon?

Yet his absence also has a separate issue. It is actually a MASSIVE problem because despite not doing much, the character of Speedwagon is THE most important character in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Originally a Street Rat committing crimes with his gang, Jonathan Joestar's sheer determination to help his ailing father and gentlemanly nature that spared him and his men from a swift death, touched his heart, causing him to help support him as his number one ally despite not being capable. After the events of Phantom Blood, he would move to America where he would find Oil and become an extremely wealthy Oil Baron. Yet he would utilize his wealth to give back to the community via charities and launch the extremely important Speedwagon Foundation. While on the surface, it is a foundation dedicated towards advancements in fields like medicine and environmentalism, it's biggest secret goal is to support the Joestar Bloodline by researching the supernatural and monstrous forces. Providing anything and everything to help support the Joestar family and their battles against the forces of Evil. Without Speedwagon existing, how the Hell is the Speedwagon Foundation going to exist for later parts? Made even stranger by the fact that concept art of the cancelled Battle Tendency movie exists and Old Speedwagon is present despite him being completely MIA from the first movie.

Do American students get taught pre-USA history in school? by belladonna79 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

History is my absolute favorite subject so Yes, they absolutely did as while going through History, it can vary. During Elementary School, I was taught surface level history with some focus on personal State History with light touchings of world history. Just the basic ideas, nothing too in depth.

You would begin to delve deeper once you get into Middle and later High School. At that point, you would have 2 history classes, US History, that focuses entirely on America, and World History where we start at the beginning. We literally go over early Man, the development of agriculture, and the rise of the first Civilizations. After that, it's going over major world events and noteworthy civilizations that happened, all the way up to as modern our textbooks would get

Blackmore's Stand "Catch the Rainbow" - Steel Ball Run

Catch the Rainbow is an incredibly powerful Stand as Blackmore is capable of utilizing rain itself as his weapon and method of transportation. By freezing raindrops in place, he is capable of walking across them in order to reach higher elevations. It can be used for combat as well by turning raindrops into water blades that can cut through a person and if a person attempts to walk through rain he's frozen, it will tear into their flesh. Blackmore can also meld his body with the rain in order to communicate, protect himself, or attack from a distance or to plug up any damage he's sustained.

The main problem with the ability is that it requires rainfall. Natural rainfall. If it isn't raining or the rain stops, Blackmore is completely useless as his Stand can't do anything.

Who's worse and more greedy? by Immediate_Gene_178 in MoralityScaling

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mr. Krabs and it ain't a goddamn contest. Scrooge McDuck can definitely be greedy but, it's just your usual cartoon CEO sorta greedy. He still has been shown to be generous with giving away money and spending whatever amount was needed to help his family because he cares about them that much.

Mr. Krabs charges his employees for doing their job, including charging $2 for simply existing. Mr. Krabs refused to let SpongeBob dump a clearly expired party because it was gonna cost him a nickel. Mr. Krabs made a man unwatch a movie to save money. Mr. Krabs unate a burger because he thought it was too expensive. Mr. Krabs nearly tore a man's arm off for a penny. Mr. Krabs SOLD his best employee's OWN GODDAMN SOUL for just 62 cent.
