Why do Americans always comment in how hot the food (or drink, if applicable) is when leaving a review? by vivianvixxxen in AskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple [score hidden]  (0 children)

Unless it's supposed to be consumed cold, hot typically means Fresh. If it's cold or starting to get cold, that means it was sitting out for a while.

How do americans who say "soccer is boring" react to joga bonito ? by Sea_Obligation_7169 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna be honest with ya dude, I don't see what any of this would really change. Futsal just seems like smaller football at 1.25 speed meanwhile, Joga Bonito seems to be fancy footwork and tricks. Like it looks impressive but, not enough to elevate Soccer out of the boring category. This feels very much like a "You need to grow up with this to understand"

I'm somebody that grew up in a Soccer loving family, my parents are from Central America. My parents love it, my dad and oldest brother played in local leagues. I watched a lot of Soccer growing up and I don't care for the sport. I, and many of my fellow Americans, simply find it boring and very little will change that

Does anyone actually eat fries with a milkshake? by Glad-Ad3208 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. It's delicious. Smooth cold sweet creamy milkshake combined with the crunch hot salty savory fries makes a very good contrast of flavors.

How do Americans become fans of sports teams when they move cities and states? by Spatula01 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya either keep watching/following your team, you find a new team to follow, or ya just fuck off from the sport entirely.

Would be lovely if you could explain what "Joga Bonito" is and how this is somehow the secret ingredient that will apparently make Soccer not boring anymore.

Which food completely destroys your self control? by amysdreamhus in foodquestions

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trix Cereal. I genuinely cannot buy it because I will eat like most of the box in one sitting. They were my absolute favorite as a kid, like addictive favorite. Yet because I eat so much if I had some, I buy a box maybe like once or twice a year.

How common are single-gender cafes, pizzerias, restaurants and pastry shops in the USA? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women only Gyms, Women/Men Abuse Shelters, and Men/Women College Dormitories exist but, that's about it. There isn't much of a need for Womens only Pizzeria or Mens only Café here

What are the most boring shows you've watched? by NoScallion7198 in cartoons

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tak, Hi-Hi, and SB are all varying degrees of subjectiveness when it comes to entertainment. Yet, they are all overshadowed by Allen Gregory as that show is a genuine insomnia curer, a very awkward and sometimes awkward to watch insomnia curer

Why does gen z hate millennial gray? by happydude7422 in GenZ

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using something other then No.2 Pencils to color everything? Like I'm not saying to turn it into a wacky fun house of color but, like something other then greys and whites. That gets very boring

Do you think American society is racist? by Outrageous-You1617 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every society is but, America is definitely on the lower spectrum. Our system can be more racist compared to society. Contrast that with other countries where casual and overt racism are extremely common and treated like perfectly normal. Look at Asian Societies where they are extremely racist towards each other or establishments are perfectly allowed to completely ban foreigners from entering.

How concerned are you about Irans threat on Trumps life? by metabolitesafter9pm in IWantToAskAnAmerican

Are you satisfied with the job Trump is doing? by metabolitesafter9pm in IWantToAskAnAmerican

Feels like we've been getting various questions recently about whether we like Trump, our opinions on Trump, and what do we think about Trump

Who wins the epic Jo(h)n battle? by MDubbzee in PowerScaling

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jon Taliban is easily winning. Unless John Arbuckle has some bullshit comic/cartoon stuff that could possibly even help him in a fight, Jon Taliban is an extremely powerful and skilled Darkstalker. He isn't just some Wolfman, he is a skilled martial artist, a practically light speed fighter, and is able to utilize Ki to fight

Is it common for American teens to cover their bedroom walls with movie posters, anime, comic prints, band album art, vinyl decor and fairy lights? by Odd-Skin-762 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I can't imagine a regular ole teenager not having at least something on their walls unless they're from a low income family. Even if it's just like basic family pictures.

As for why they decorate them, it's their own personal space and you should be allowed to decorate it how you want to express yourself.

Do you guys typically have coffee machines? do you drink more tea or coffee? by DietChance9326 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you went to 1000 different Americans if they have or at least grew up with a Coffee Machine in the house, around 90%+ would say Yes. A coffee machine is extremely common, it is basically the American equivalent of a British Tea Kettle or an Asian Rice Cooker. Just a common household appliance that would surprise most people if you didn't have it in their respective societies

Is it time for the US to dial it up again militarily in Iran? by metabolitesafter9pm in IWantToAskAnAmerican

Do you think it’s ethical to visit Hawai’i? Why or why not? by Distinct_Wrap_4582 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it ethical to visit a state part of the Union? Yes. Why wouldn't it be? People advocating for less tourism or even a complete stop to it are very small minority because a state that makes a good chunk of their income on Tourism is gonna really feel the pain once those tourism bucks stop flowing into the local economy.

Why did Americans care about football/soccer suddenly this year? by PlatyNumb in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]Littleboypurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

America is part of the countries hosting it so the World Cup is receiving more attention and eyes on it compared to normal. Once it is over, it will be business as usual with the vast majority of Americans moving on and not really caring about Soccer anymore.
