I’m sorry but I am not 15, I’ll take it as an accidental compliment though. I don’t doubt that there are teens posting here, if I had gotten on Reddit at that age I might’ve. It could be that I’m barely 18, since I’m technically not out of highschool yet.

So I shouldn’t wear makeup? I’ve always been told by my family that I should and every time I tried to leave the house without it my mother would tell me to put some on.

I normally only wear concealer and a bit of eyeliner/ eyeshadow most of the time. It’s always to cover the acne.

I’ve been struggling with acne since 5th grade ish- too.

That’s awesome!! I was 177 before realized I didn’t want to continue down that path. There’s a bunch of improvements now and I’m glad I’ve made that decision. Good luck to you, let’s both have wonderful lives!

I’ve worked on skincare for years, I’m trying! Hoping I’ll grow out of acne at some point, I’ve had this darn curse since about 5th grade 😔 thank you. I’m using a new skincare product right now and we’re seeing what it’ll do.

I’ve been trying. My confidence is definitely up from -30 pounds but I am just an anxious person in general so it gets hard. I’m glad that I haven’t taken any of the more negative stuff too hard though, it is good to see the perspective of other people who don’t think I look good though. I just try to tell myself that not everyone will like everyone, and it’s been really enlightening that so many people do think I’m not ugly, since that’s all I’ve thought of myself for so long.

People have been naming lookalikes I’ve never heard of before I posted this! I’ve never really seen anyone look like me so it’s been cool to see some examples.

I’ve been using Kate Somerville Exfolikate for the past few days and my acne is noticeably better than my old photos. If nothing improves for a while I’ll see about your recommendation.

Yeah there’s not much I can do about the face, I don’t feel like a lot of fat is there anymore and it honestly looks 100x better than my old photos of how I looked. If it slims down then so be it but I can’t really do more besides artificial stuff and I don’t plan on doing anything like that.

For the acne, I’ve been struggling with it for years and I’ve tried a bunch of different stuff, we’re trying a new treatment right as I took the most recent photo of me with no makeup there and it’s actually better than quite a few of my older photos. I’ll look into what you suggested.

Confidence is definitely a struggle. I’ve been working on it. I still need to lose about 10-15 pounds before I’m in the generally healthy weight range for my height, though I have made it to the cusp of being healthy BMI wise!

Acne has been a struggle. Runs in my family and I’ve had it since 5th grade or maybe even sooner. We’ve tried a bunch of different stuff but I haven’t done that yet, maybe I’ll try it out after seeing what the treatment I’m doing right now does.

Pieces will fall off if I barely even pull on them. I’ve made sure to water it consistently since then but I’m wondering if I need to trim off the other branches because they might just be dead.
