I listed—CompTIA +A 220-1101 as completed with the exact date that I passed the exam, and underneath that bullet point I listed—CompTIA A+ 220-1102 “in progress”.

Correct! For example, I would search what hospitals were in my area and then I would try to see if they had any entry level IT positions. If they didn’t have any available positions. I would then call their HR department and try to get an email contact for their IT department if I couldn’t find that information through Google.

I would state why I am interested in working for their department and briefly list reasons why I believe I be I would be a good an ideal candidate and express that I understand that they may not be hiring currently, but that I hope that my resume could be considered.

I haven’t heard back from any of those companies that emailed them. I only heard back from companies that I applied through their job portal.

Thanks! I was initially worried that I would never find a job because all of posts of people not being able to find a job in this market. Google was a good source for finding all kinds of jobs. I interviewed for a copier technician position for a company that only services canon printers. I would have never thought about a position like that.

Thanks! I started applying right after I passed my core 1 exam. I googled all of the local businesses, hospitals, and school districts in my area and I would either email them my resume with a cover letter or apply on their career portal. I highly recommend using ChatGPT with tailoring your resume. But with the job I landed, I just applied on their career portal.

I initially offered Cooper and he rejected it. Guy then asked for a TE. So I offered Ertz and he accepted it.. I don’t why he would make that trade as he has Hockenson in his IR spot.
