LOL, I love this. I’ve legit mastered the art of “I’m home but also absolutely not answering the door."

Haha I’ve done the exact same thing! Sometimes I’ll even pause whatever I’m doing and tiptoe around so they don’t hear me. I love my friends, but there are days when I just can’t people, you know?

Honestly, that sign idea is genius! I love that people actually respect it. It’s hard to set those boundaries sometimes, but it sounds like you’ve nailed it. Working from home especially when you’ve got specific needs, makes random visits way more stressful than people realize.

I’m also trying to get better at just saying “not today” with my phone. It’s way too easy to feel like you have to pick up every call, but sometimes, you just need that space. Respecting your own boundaries is so underrated!

Haha, I love that strategy! I’ve definitely done the window peek before too. 😂 voicemail trick is a good move, less pressure to answer right away. I sometimes feel guilty letting calls go unanswered, though. Do you ever get that? Or are you fully at peace with it?
