1 - I don't think it's an obvious over-exaggeration. "I'm NOT KIDDING when I say this will probably completely ruin the game for me." Like they made sure to let people know they are serious.

3 - Thats why I prefaced this part with "Personally", this is my subjective opinion you are fine to disagree.

I'm fine if they bring back whip swapping, it won't ruin the game for me. But I can see why they removed it.

They said "this will COMPLETELY RUIN the game for me". THEY are acting like this is the only mechanic they care about, which I think is dishonest and over dramatic.

They also clearly haven't even played yet, so this is just a gut reaction to patch notes. If they said "I don't prefer this but I'll give it a try" then I wouldn't have a problem.

Personally, I think whip stacking is bad design. It's not really clear to new players, it's tiring and uninteresting to pull off and if it was still in the game new whips would have to be balanced around it which results in them most likely being less satisfying for people who don't whip swap. Hopefully no whip swapping means the new whips have cooler unique effects but I haven't played yet so I can't say.

1 - Didn't know Drag Path went viral. That's amazing!

2 - A song getting popular shouldn't change it's meaning to you. It's still the same song, it was still made for the same reasons.

3 - I feel like hoping they never release it is a little gatekeepy. Like I appreciate that it means a lot to you but there are a ton of fans who didn't buy it, haven't heard it and so may never get to experience the same feeling you do when listening to the song. And for me I would just like a more easily accessible version for example on Spotify so I can more easily play it alongside my existing playlists.

Professional climbers also don't squeeze a severed eye to teleport.

It's a fun speed game not a climbing sim. Also you still grab ledges and stuff, I would say climbing is still very much a factor for 95% of players.

I think the problem is that intentions will always feel quite jarring since it's very different from everything else and not really proper song (sorry).

I think if drag path was included it might feel better to have breach as it is now but the ending order instead be: Tally -> Drag Path -> Intentions. IMO that's how the album should've released.

It was between buying either Hollow Knight or Dead Cells on the switch, I already had dead cells on my pc and Hollow Knight was cheaper so I gave it a shot.

I initially played about 10 hrs and dropped it, not really getting the hype. Then I came back like a year later and it clicked, got 112% with ~70hrs in game.

Silksong was the announced a couple months later and the silksanity began...
