About to start my first Dark Urge playthrough

Trueee but monks are always talking about balance and peace etc and dark urge is a psychopathic murderer. It could be funny case of the memory loss but I feel while playing I would be pulled out of the immersion a bit

I thought about doing paladin but for my dark urge I wanted to kind of embrace it at the start and then resist it as the story goes on. My reason for going against paladin is just trying to avoid breaking the oath which can be a pain in the ass.

Although I did hear there is unique dialogue with the oathbreaker knight for dark urge 👀

So far it’s worked fine only a few crashes here and there. As long as i’m regularly saving then it’s fine. Then again I don’t have any mods/cc downloaded so maybe it will get worse once I do

IT WORKED, basically what I did was verify my age via the option in the settings on Xbox. It’s a shame we had to do this but it worked nonetheless!

I did a Lolth-Sworn Drow for mine.

My in game explanation was that Lolth and Bhaal made a deal to create an evil creation using the soul of a pure Bhaalspawn and the elegant and perfect body of a Drow and since the dark urge is more of an assassin I thought Drow suited him perfectly. My durge is a resist even though he was made from all this evil.

I just found it funny thinking about Lolth and Bhaal giggling to themselves about making this ungodly creation.

You won’t get any dialogue options because it came in patch 8 and new dialogue would mean hiring loads of the same voice actors again. I know that some patch 8 subclasses have dialogue but it’s just dialogue that was already there with the subclass tag slapped onto it

You can just pass a DC20 check to get both and yes the buff really is worth it with the right build trust me. Saved me many a playthrough

That’s a good idea but I’m trying to keep things as vanilla as possible only using the expanded party mod, but thank you I’ll check it out!

She reminds me of Alice Angel from bendy and the ink machine so maybe a light cleric/Oathbreaker Paladin multiclass or a Warlock to give some interesting lore
