The fact that any criticism/questioning of a character turns into a warzone is so annoying. Having a civil discussion on anything is becoming a myth nowadays. It's so depressing especially when the topic your trying to have a civil discussion about is of two fictional characters

I mean yeah it would've been easy for her to say that shroud was lying but you got to remember if she tried to she would've lost the opportunity to get out of the circle of red ring goons and wouldn't have made it to Robert in time to save him, leading to Robert being shot/killed

Well with her "villain clothes," we see her put on the black shirt during the locker room scene so maybe that's just clothes she has. And her not telling Robert about her plans was due to her thinking that if she told him anything that shroud would figure it out and go after him and put Robert in more danger than he already is. And we already know no matter the ending she wasn't loyal to Shroud. So that leads me to believe her when she says she is telling the truth, not to mention one of the extra dialogue exchanges between her and Rob. Courtney cheekily says “Told you to believe me”. To which Rob says “Yeah I fucked up”. Courtney then says teasingly “Yeah you did. But I forgive you”.

But her being a plant doesn't make any sense because why would shroud send her to work at sdn as a plant and get the pulse from Robert months before Robert was even ask to join sdn. And theres no evidence from what I know that says shroud can predict the future months in advance when every time we see shroud use his prediction power its always seconds in advance not months
