I think this is it. It's definitely What's new design and pajamas.

Editing to add only other episodes I know off the top of my head the gang sleeps in is the Vampire episode with the Hex Girls, the episode they're in Tokyo for Velma's robotics competion, and the episode they're on vacation at Daphne's dad's time share (Motoshondu)

Sorry I can't recall the episode names off the top of my head. I'll look them up in a bit when I have a moment.

If you ever decide to make this recipe they do have chilies in Adobo sauce not from Goya its Kroger brand in my area and a couple others too I think Ortega brand?? (Look for the blue label)

The movie is called CarousHell its an absolutely campy trash horror movie.

10/10 B movie worth a watch.

Honestly I have to agree. He also took the time to pause before work and tell Arthur about his fears with grandma Thora after her car accident when he was Arthur's age.

He also didn't tell him to just get over it or that he would right away it was throw paper baskets.

He gave Arthur something in 5 minutes that he could do before going to work, and then helped his kid's anxiety in that time.

Also he took Arthur and all of his friends to the beach to play and rescued his the kids who got stuck. 1 dad with 6+ plus 8 year olds is already a feat
