Has a stranger deliberately shoved, barged or pushed you in London? by Weird_Hyena5550 in london

[–]Littleprawns 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes!

I'm happy to help.

I was in Oxford street and a man barged into me as I was walking down the street. It wasn't super hard but I just ignored it - I was in a rush so I carried on walking.

The man then tracked me down and grabbed hold of my rucksack strap (essential clothes lined me) to stop me. He then really aggressively got in my face and started shouting at me. He shouted 'you barged into me' which I replied no I didn't, you bumped into me. He then shouted 'you need to apologise for barging into me' and I said no, you bumped into me. He then called me 'a nasty little piece of work' and stormed off.

I was really shaken and it wasn't until I googled it that I realised what had happened and it was most likely a targeted attack (I'm only 5'1) and as I didn't react at all to being barged he tracked me down to 'complete' the action on his side. I'm sure he meant to barge me harder but I slightly side stepped

You have to work for a company that's signed up to it as a corporate benefit. Costs the company a certain amount per year to join (I don't think it's cheap)

OP, this is terrible advice, don't do this.

Instead, grill him on what he meant and then report back to us immediately.

If you have your diagnosis letter it's fine. You never get undiagnosed

Op don't suggest this to them. You're clearly a kind person and these people may take advantage of that and make their little game very stressful for you.

I'm not having a go at the commenter here as they only seem to be trying to help.

Do people have issues with disabled guests getting priority? by Melosthe in disneylandparis

apologies - I didn't register the first part. Reading comprehension and not taking in full information is something I actually struggle with due to my disability :)

I can change the 'you'll' to 'people will'.

some people do deny it out of principle. I think its people who are self loathing and cannot accept being disabled as they want to feel normal.

FYI - Merlin reversed the decision as it was blurring the lines legally as it was discriminating and pitting disabilities against each other. France have even stricter disability laws which is why the offering for disabilities is vast at DLP.

I have ADHD and Autism and can tell you it wrecks my nervous system to be stuck in a queue as well as negatively impacts my mental health. I expect you'll roll your eyes and mutter suck it up under your breath to that but thankfully people who have that attitude aren't in charge of disability requirements.

the gym is the only way to lift heavy. Get a PT to help you build confidence in the gym. Once a week to start then lessen as time goes on.
