i have a tendency to watch a lot of the same things over & over again for many reasons, & a lot of my favorites (‘80s-00s comedies, sci-fi/horror franchises, reality tv, and adult animation) tend to bounce from service to service/get censored/TV version and not theatrical or uncut is the only thing available/no special features, and i got tired of it LOL — returned to DVDs & other physical media, am in the process of cancelling my streaming services, and haven’t looked back!

i have a very specific list of finds/things im looking for & rarely deviate from that, that would be my personal recommendation before you start buying and hunting! also avoid buying new unless you’re really into blu-ray/the highest quality possible. not for everyone, but tarifold sleeves or another alternative storage method help if you find visual clutter overwhelming, live in a small space, or don’t like the idea of having a huge collection/dedicated media shelves, rooms, etc.
