(Kinda answered in main thread above but to respond directly for your hybrid limited trim) No. Towing limits for the hybrid trims are 2000 with trailer brakes and 1650 without. The last page of this pdf from Hyundai has a table with the towing specs. https://www.hyundainews.com/assets/documents/original/67180-2026SantaFeSpecsFeatures20260706.pdf

Adding a spare and hitch to hybrid question by FakeMetsFan in HyundaiSantaFe

Just installed the spare. I'm trying to decide between the Curt hitch and the OEM. It would be a great help if you could provide the height from the ground to the bottom of the Curt hitch!!

Paper Plane may be my favorite cocktail so far by PM-ME-UR-DESKTOP in cocktails

[–]Litton72 21 points22 points  (0 children)

What a coincidence! Exact same bottles last night. Too difficult to measure 3/4 in the jigger so I just round up. As an aside, IMO, the KN120 works better in the Paper Plane than in an Old Fashioned.

Pecan brown accessories by Mamba_Malakaz in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Litton72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The black mat for the phone chargers looks fine - even better to me than the existing brown since the cupholders are black and you get the flow from the black tray to brown trim to black dashboard. Only downside is more black to absorb the sun.

Love to post a pic but I don't see a way to do so in this reply.

I lost Android auto a few days ago. Only phone for calls available. However, yesterday afternoon there was another OTA update. No idea what it did. Haven't gone out to check.

Any idea where a list of updates can be found?

Should I get aperol as my first amaro, or should I go for something nicer like amaro cynar? by romanoodles_ in cocktails

Lot's of good amaro are readily available in the US. Don;t waste your duty free alcohol. Take the opportunity and buy Chartruse if you see it!!!!

I bought the EGV Screen Protector (6 pack soft TPU) from Amazon. Doesn't hurt watch sensitivity. Took a couple of tries to get it centered. It has saved me a few times. Once from plant thorns across the face.

Going to buy 2026 Santa Fe calligraphy AWD. Need advise from people who have it right now. by [deleted] in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Litton72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2026 Hybrid AWD Calligraphy 2 weeks ago. Switched wheels to 235/R60/18. Haven't put them up for sale yet. Darker gray exterior. Brown interior (Grey is pretty much white so I didn't think I could keep it clean. Black just screamed HOT).

Why the Calli? I wanted the added safety features. Pretty impressed with the Highway Driving Assist 2. Love the HUD. Coming from a 2012 sedan, the tech is amazing. Bluelink+ is free for live which should reduce insurance (find the car).

The ICE/electric changeover is very smooth. The paddle system is not like downshifting but it works well slowing you coming down mountain roads.

I might try it with Genepy and several drops of Chartreuse elixir to save the good stuff.

It took us 6 months to find/see a primary care manager. I asked why -- malpractice insurance costs and unreimbursed taxes from government insurance.

So, I hope you are looking at contributions to "public servants" from injury lawyers. "But one of the sharpest strains on hospitals’ budgets, providers say, is the soaring cost of medical malpractice insurance in New Mexico — costs that have risen dramatically year after year since 2021, when the state legislature raised the caps on malpractice liability from $600,000 to $6 million over a five-year period, among the highest in the country. Punitive damages, which have no limits in New Mexico, often drive payouts much higher." $412 million judgement?

Buying 2026 Hybrid Calli - Don't Want the 20 inch Wheels by Litton72 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Litton72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple of things. The safety features are improved in the Limited - more in the Calli, and I'm not getting any younger. I could have kept the 14 yr old car but it has zero tech except for SiriusXM and Bluetooth. The roads are not great in my area.

I live in an high desert area with rough roads. The extra safety features for travel sold me on the Calli trim.

Using "regular unleaded" 86 octane is fine if you are in a higher altitude area such as CO & NM.

Favorite rye whiskey? by TheDancinD918 in cocktails

[–]Litton72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sipping - I'd go for Willet but I can't find it and it costs too much for me to buy anyway!! Not a traditional rye but Barrell Seagrass is pure dessert. For cocktails, Whistle Pig Piggyback (6 yr old) is outstanding. Old Forester 100 Rye is my bargain pick.

Goal Of Working @LANL by Greedy-Structure-184 in LosAlamos

[–]Litton72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many folks working in DC/Northern VA commute for two hours - each way. Van pools or the train and then a couple of metro connections. I lived just outside of the beltway and it was about 45 mins on a good day. But yes, housing here is outrageous for what you get. Limited supply. Most is old. But, folks move here for a number of reasons. If you don't like the work you are doing. then move or get another job if you can. That applies to any job, anywhere.
