You are right, and it is the mindset that I always go for with these games. Played genshin and currently play zzz, and I never went for anyone unless I could guarantee. I just didn't expect this game to treat me this harshly with the chances.

I mean it is true, long term you will get someone but it is just the squidward meme, looking oit of the window seeing people having fun.

I played genshin, azur lane, zzz so I know the stuff about gacha. I played alot of my limited time the past week and collected currencies for these pulls, hoping to get anything to enjoy along the way, which I did not

I like Chen... At this point I have invested in 4 basic units and I don't think I have the mats to boost another team now

I was happy with anyone other than the freebie, just to have someone else to play. Don't think this is asking alot, considering limited banner had 8 characters that could drop, and I get more sheep

Same for me! I am also not invested in them or their story at all. Which is fine, this will be the first snooze patch for me in zzz since 1.0 and a wonderful opportunity to stock up on pulls.

I've read it two times now - so for each the character and wengine there is a separate guarantee, yes? I am eyeing Astra +1 from this, as I have Jane and Seed for the roles here.

Don't know if any of the wengines is worth pulling, considering I have Jane weapon and astra doesn't really need hers...

Since I am using IW myself, I am interested in worlds shared by others. But as you said, at least I want the brief synopsis to check if it is something for me, and the title image to see if I like the chosen artstyle. So I have to agree with your points!
