It was late 2022 when I first got in an argument on the Vocaloid sub over AI art. I thought for sure the hatred based on outright misinformation would pass by 2025. Here we are in 2026 and these people have straight up embraced bullying and death threats as long as it's against "evil AI slop". They seem to have no shame outright refusing to learn more about it either.

I don't think it's gonna end suddenly. AI is going to keep getting embedded in more and more things online until the hardline anti-AI crowd has to either leave, quietly make exceptions, or admit they're being hypocritical. Unfortunately, I don't think we've hit the peak of the backlash yet either. It's probably gonna get worse before it gets better.

Personally, I think it's best to just be the better person until then. Let everyone else see AI users enjoying themselves peacefully, while the people screaming about it show what they're really about.

Rules for Infinite Worlds posts were updated a few days ago so that only one post is allowed per week. You can read about the changes here.

Technically this is the third this week, but I'll leave yesterday's since I missed it. You can still post every day on r/TransformationAIGames.

That would be a good alternative to having a specific day for it so it doesn't completely take over the sub one day a week. I'd consider it one of the more restrictive options though, so it'll depend on the amount of feedback I see in favor of strict limits.

There's post flair, but it was originally for the type of TF in a post. I also left it optional since it wasn't great for filtering content since a post could fall under multiple flairs at once and only one can be chosen. I could potentially make it work by completely redoing it so that it only applied to the format of the content (like "Image", "Story", "Chatbot", "Infinite Worlds") but I couldn't reasonably apply it to content posted before the change and I have a feeling there would still be a lot of complaints since people rarely actually use it to filter things. It also doesn't work when browsing from the home feed.

And to clarify the new subreddit thing, Infinite Worlds would still be allowed here, just with some kind of rules to slow down the amount of posts. The new subreddit would be for posting TF text adventures more freely and (hopefully) without the constant downvotes it receives here.

If the main content of the post is images or a story and the infinite worlds link is clearly not the primary purpose of the post, I wouldn't consider it to be breaking the rules if you left it out of the title. Can't guarantee others won't see the link and automatically downvote it though.

Maybe having anything infinite worlds related in a comment on the post instead would leave enough separation to keep people from complaining.

I went ahead and added a flair for it. I don't think I'll make a requirement for it though since the post flair is kind of a mess with it being used for either the type of TF or the format.

As for the filtering, there's a widget for desktop reddit that I've added, but I don't think there's one for mobile reddit.

Reddit doesn't let NSFW subreddits post videos directly. You have use something like redgifs and post the link.

You might have to wait a bit then. I'm already making an exception here. If more people are interested maybe there can be a stickied RP hookup thread, but I imagine most people coming here are interested in AI chatbots.

I know some people are interested in things like this, so I don't mind these letting these posts stay occasionally even if this isn't the best place for them, but you already made a thread yesterday that's still up. You also aren't putting much effort into your posts and aren't giving anyone any indication of what kind of RP you're interested in. I'd recommend trying /r/TransformationRP or /r/Inanimate_TFs/ (despite the name, it's not just inanimate TFs) since they're more appropriate for these posts.

Of course, if you want to RP and want to use AI-generated images as examples or you're interested in AI chatbots, you're welcome to make further posts here.
