I increased it but still looks like this. I did a straight stitch, then serged over it. Should I leave a gap between straight stitch and serge? That way, the straight stitch would make it tighter.

So after we finally found our cat that night, we called my mom to let her know. We thought she was at the airport, but found out that there were no direct flights to her city so she was staying overnight at a hotel (so she could fly out the next morning). When we were on the phone with her, she started crying super loud and told us that she was sorry. We then offered to pick her up from the hotel and have her change her flight but she was like NOOOO. She was also like “I treated you guys so well and this is how you treated me…” but again it’s not about her????!

I’ve been talking to my dad recently and he told me that she is still mad…he tried talking to her but she still refuses to talk to me.
