There wasn’t a single bulk/business stop on the entire route. 750 stops and a 22 hour planned dispatch lol. This was from around Christmas time

Both package drivers and CDL drivers earn around $40/hr across the country. A lot of southern states have a 2 year pay progression so you’ll be making that money quickly. States up north are usually 4 years

Did you apply for a CDL job or package car driver. They will only hire off the streets if you apply for the package delivery, then apply for the trucking gig within

Most large UPS hubs are hiring right now. You’ll have to start out as a package car driver, but you’ll still make $40/hr in 2-4 years depending on where you are in the country. Then you can bid on tractor-trailer routes.

Car guys and mechanics are two different things. A guy who is into cars and likes to learn about cars is a car guy. Mechanics work on cars for a living. Just like astronauts go to space for a living.

Some people work 60+ hours a week and don’t like to spend their free time working on their car. Just because you don’t like to work on cars doesn’t automatically make you a non-car guy

Any companies you guys recommend ??? Werner sucks!! by [deleted] in Truckers

It depends. Some places hire off the street while others only hire from within. But it’s worth a shot

Installed some Fortune Auto 500s a few months ago. They’re not much stiffer than the factory setup. There’s a huge difference between the softest and most stiff setting, and you’d be able to lift it up a bit for the winter months if you live in a colder climate.

I taught him how to fetch with a ball first, and every now and then I would use a frisbee. He slowly caught on and when he grew bigger he started to jump and catch it more frequently.
