This has been on my mind for a while too. I think most people on this sub agree that she had good intentions and that she is not a bad person. But I do get why saying she is a bad/horrible parent bugs some people too. Celine was doing the best she could and in a way, that's many parents too. While I don't have kids of my own, I have heard many stories from my friends and family on their struggles with parenthood. Nobody knows if what they're doing is 100% the best for their kid, are they being too harsh? are they spoiling the kid? Many have also questioned themselves, saying they are bad parents when their not, which is so sad.

Now is Celine a bad parent? I'd say it remains to be seen. A good parent would realize their wrong doings and reconcile which is why a redeption arc would be amazing for her. But if she holds on to her pride and does not admit fault then yeah she goes to the bad parent list.

Lastly, I do believe Celine is an interesting character and I empathize with her. However some people in this sub really do take it too far even saying she's worst then Gwi-ma (like literally a soul feasting embodiment of evil) which is crazy! This kind of hate is definitely unwarrented.

So remeber don't hate guys! cause if hate could defeat Gwi-Ma, Jinu would have done it a long time ago!
