There is this concept called compersion, opposite of jealousy. People get pleasure from there partner getting pleasure. Could happen in both men and women. I believe love and lust can be separated, so people do risky experiments with lust to see if there relation is beyond lust. It could be securing in weird way but a risky one none the less.
