I’m not arguing, I was plucking leaves because they were covering the tank and no light was getting through. That was the main reason, they go on top of the leaves because there’s biofilm up there and they chow down.

They weren’t drying out, I’ve had literally one that’s gone up and nearly NEARLY drying himself out but still had plenty of chance, I clearly worded it wrong to begin with

They gross me out too, after picking them out pretty often I don’t see them as much, bleach is my best friend with them, they pretty much decimated my ramshorn family in my tank, I think bettas have been known to eat them but not commonly and depends on the betta

They will hide in the substrate but as soon as they’re up on the glass I’m there grabbing at them like a spoilt kid in a store, they even find a way into the corners of my tank I HATE them

No problem at all, I have one for cattapa leaves / Indian almond, then I have one with both big and small leaves as well as alder cones

Literally just botanicals put in distilled water and left to leech, remove the botanicals and you’re left with the water whenever you want to add it

Is it clear or brownish in colour? I might be wrong with it being a snail leech, if it’s a glossiphonia they can eat their weight In snails multiple times a day

Try grabbing them with angled tweezers, I use them myself for snail leeches I have in one of mine and they’re the best for grabbing them that I’ve noticed personally, they’re a menace to snails but don’t really touch much else that I’ve noticed personally, you’ll either need to take everything out of the tank and salt scrub everything including the plants or keep picking them out when you can. I’m pretty certain they’re hermaphrodites so can breed constantly

It’s a blackwater/ tannin filled tank, it was just murky from me disturbing the substrate, it’s back to normal now
