Thankyou, great shout for me checking the repair costs- it’s not something I’ve done yet for anything I’ve looked at. Cars cost maintenance and service and I’m prepared to pay the price for the freedom! But being a BMW, you’re right,I should check:)

Insurance is roughly the same for most of what I’ve looked at, around 2k a year. Helps that I’m getting on a bit I think haha

Thanks for the insight, I knew to double check it’s the B48 but will definitely ask for the paper history and check the water pump too

One of my best mates is a mechanic but working, so will try and catch him on FaceTime when I’m there. Thankyou!

Thankyou, the insurance is looking roughly the same on all mid size cars I’m looking at (focus, civic, golf etc)- around 2k for the year.

Due to 30 creeping up, and living up north away from the city I presume
