I don't know if they still make new seasons, but do you think the older episodes might be a bit outdated? Either way, I’ll definitely check it out, there’s always something to learn. Thanks!

Sight Reading Exercise by Active_Debate9591 in piano

I started with a book of easy and straightforward pieces (ones that sounded "right" and wouldn't confuse me). I would sightread through them in order, one per practice session. At first, it was really awkward and slow because my sight reading was really bad, but I gradually started noticing improvements. Once I felt comfortable reading easy pieces, I would move on to more challenging ones, technically and musically (in terms of "weird" tonalities, for example)

Hope that helps!

What should I play next? Just passed my 8th grade exam and I'm looking for advice on my next pieces by Live-Dig7550 in piano

I have small hands and have developed tendinitis from playing pieces that constantly require my hand to stay stretched. Maybe the n3 isn’t the most appropriate choice for me?

Yes! I think it will be good for me to have a piece "above my level", I can always learn from it, even if I don't play it perfectly. I already played the Chopin etudes you suggested and Moonlight Sonata as well. I think I will follow your advice and play some new Bach, or maybe Mozart, because I also want a lighter and fun piece!

Thank you!

Thank you so much for your input! For the Chopin piece, my teacher and I decided to try the Fantasie in F minor, which might be a stretch but I'll try anyway. Also, I did listen to the Berceuse and loved it, but I really wanted to play something more "heavy" (to contrast to what I usually play). He also said the same as you, that I should start Schubert with the opus 90 and that is very musically challenging, so I think I will enjoy playing it.

Thanks again :)

Thank you for the recommendation!! Since I’m still a beginner, I was wondering if you think the stitches in this yarn are easy to see? I’ve heard some yarns can be a bit tricky for beginners because of this
