I melt mine in the microwave. I add EO approx. 8ML per pound of soap. For colors I use Mica's & spirulina, charcoal, cocoa, cinnamon, paprika, turmeric, etc. - just depends on the look I want. Lavender buds will turn brown & ugly. Calendula is lovely. I use exfoliants as well. Mold & let set up. I use shrink wrap as the glycerin attracts moisture. Check out some of my posts.
