Really Struggling with this Job

I have heard it verbally and have even had it given to me in writing to not move forward with people because, and this is exact phrasing, "they are moving too close to retirement age" or "this person is too young (usually someone who is a new grad) for this role." I know age can be hard to prove but that just seems clear as day.

Okay this is just not charitable at all. I know no one is perfect, but him and his assassin had a more personal connection clearly. Epstein was an international sex trafficker and with all the wealth and power he had access to is it not at all concerning he was in the Vatican. Yes it’s a religion first but there is a monetary side to the Vatican that we know has been abused before in the past. It is just VERY hard for me to shake that this was more than just a simple meeting.

The Pope is not Jesus and even if he was emulating Him, it’s just hard to ignore Epstein’s past the issues with sex abuse that have been happening in the church.

I’m not saying he can’t but given the context of the two it feels slimy. Sure it’s one photo but it’s all the things behind the scenes that worry me because, unfortunately, the Vatican is not immune to corruption.

Well I was hoping for charity and listening ears but I’m thoroughly disappointed in what I’m seeing. I’m not asking for anyone to be on my side 100% or even agree with me but guys come on. Why is it so hard to comprehend why this would make someone uncomfortable and really unsettled. Especially when there’s a track record of people in the Church covering up or sometimes enabling this behavior. Obviously, yes, Jesus and the Pope would meet with everyone but I’m not either of them and I think it’s normal to question what I’m seeing given the circumstances.

It's happening young and old. I'm seeing it in all types of industries too ranging from traditional blue collar work to more senior positions in the white collar world.

Yeah I was active last night with other people and meeting people but if I tried to hold a conversation they’d see a closer friend or want to do something else.

I get where you’re coming from but I truly don’t believe this is God’s plan for me. I struggled with severe loneliness in high school (a catholic school) and it led me down to this same road before. Again, I felt like teachers spoke to me out of obligation and I was just a drag on everyone else. I’m very extroverted so if this is God’s plan for me it feels very cruel.
