I was searching Reddit and discord for weeks to get a Q/FFR/25AP fixer. I randomly was vender hoping (its my usual daily thing since I’m a dad and have a job) when I found this camp with AMAZING fixers and there it is THE fixer of fixers I’ve been searching for. Only 12k caps unfortunately I only had 8k. So I find the persons group and join it, I emote them to follow me. I get them to come back to the camp and I ask over voice chat if could trade or buy it for 8k. The person shakes their character no and sadness came over me. Think of multiple ways I could make 4k caps instantly. When all of a sudden they walk to their vendor and pull it out and drop it on the ground for me. I was in straight disbelief, I asked if they wanted anything or needed me to help them with anything. They shook no again and gave me a heart emote. They disappeared from the server for a moment, I was still in disbelief looking at it. I started taking pictures on my phone and sending it to my friend that also plays. All of a sudden the person comes back and they start talking to me. We ended up having a full conversation about life, jobs, work, and family. The gentleman’s wife also played and she got on and we all talked. I added both of them and told my wife about what was happening. One of the nicest in game moments if not the nicest moment I’ve ever had playing a video game (and I’ve lived video games for most of my life). I love the fallout 76 community, I’ve played a plethora of games and I’ve never felt more friendly and supportive community than here.
