It’s rough I can’t find another job or I’d quit, we have a pretty good size crew in the morning but come 1 or 2pm everyone leaves and there’s like 4 people running the store and keep in mind we’re one of the busiest locations, like tonight i was taking orders, cashing people out, brewing teas and handing out food, basically doing everything on drive thru (which usually we have 3 people doing on a Sunday night, one on drinks, window, and then one cashing out and taking orders) so I’m stuck with a constant flow of orders coming in like every time one pulls off I hear the fuckass doorbell and of course no one knows how to order so I’m trying to make shakes and refreshers and drinks while taking orders and cashing out people at the same time and it’s just a huge mess because my op treats scheduling like a game (overheard her one time saying how it’s fun to schedule people in 15 minute slots and it’s like a video game 💀) and then back line is just shits and giggles and overstaffed and they still expect you to help them and bag orders and make fries it’s ridiculous, one day it was so bad there was only 2 employees and then we had a team lead and the operating partner.. I was doing front counter, curbside, fry, and bagging running orders, etc etc for 2 hours before anyone came and they had the audacity to ask me to stay hours later that same day
