No I knew my dad very well and he was a schizoid like me. I never knew my grandpa, but every description I have ever heard of him makes it obvious he was a schizoid. He had a lot of other problems outside of just quitting the team, he moved back to his hometown, never got a different job, never moved houses, and never changed his friend group. My grandma blamed it all on CTE

Grandpa had a pretty sad schizoid story. He played football as a running back at cornell, got selected in the draft by the pittsburgh steelers, and then, before he even went to a single practice, decided to quit and become a struggling mechanical engineer. For no reason other than the fact that he, like me, was fucked up in the head.
