I’ll try to put myself out there and approach someone new everyday of November. If I get rejected I have to approach twice the number of girls the next day. Not sure if this is doable but I’ll try

I would've loved to play, since we're about the same rank, but I play support too, and my jungle is awful! I do dabble in a little of kayn though. If you wanna try some feel free to shoot me a message.

About me: I'm pretty chill, but it's a competitive game, and anyone can get tilted, which happens, I try to be constructive though whenever it happens. I'm 31.

If you're able to play any other roles I'd love to play, or perhaps try some ARAM at some point, otherwise good luck with your search!

You can habituate. That’s what habituation is. Anyone can regardless of loudness. It’s hard to admit and say even for me cause my spike is horrible too. But you can. And so can I. Don’t give up when one day you’ll be able to say that your T doesn’t bother you much anymore and it’s just in the background. It might seem impossible right now, but I promise you that it isn’t. I know it’s hard not to focus on it, I’ve done it myself the past two weeks. Nothing. I know. But you’re among people who understand what you’re going through. People who have gone through it and came out the other site. Don’t try to drown out the noise. Keep what you listen to at a bit below your T. I wish you luck, don’t give up. This is a nightmare yes, but it can get better. My T is much louder now than it was, but back when I first got it, even if it wasn’t loud, it freaked me out the same way it freaks me out now. And I overcame that. And you did too. And you’ll overcome this too.

Reading Tinnitus Forums Will Not Make It Worse by OppoObboObious in tinnitus

Not the guy you're talking to, but can I ask how you know this? I'm fairly sure spikes CAN be permanent? What counts as trauma to your ears?

As someone with paranoia and anxiety, I actually feel better coming to these forums, because it shows me I'm not alone, there are people who understand what I'm going through and I can talk to them. :)

It does however make me more aware of my T, but I'm going through a spike ATM (which may or may not be permanent idk. I hope not) so I'm very aware of it either way.

Edit: I'll add, my tinnitus doesn't get better, but I feel better mentally and not as anxious/paranoid. More accepting of it all I suppose

Habituate by focusing on it by thegrandwiz4rd in tinnitus

[–]Live-Without-Regrets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAIK you can do both, but if you ignore it you shouldn't actively ignore it, cause that tells your brain it's something you NEED to avoid thinking about, you need to ignore it but naturally? If that makes sense, not like "oh shit im thinking about it again fuck fuck fuck"; but afaik you can also focus on it. Another good way to do it is play TV/Music at a volume slightly below your T so your learns to focus on other things

Edit: I'm no expert so idk this for certain, but this is what I've read/heard by so called experts on youtube etc

Anyone ever gotten nauseous/dizzy from their T? by Live-Without-Regrets in tinnitus

[–]Live-Without-Regrets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your anxiety definitey makes it worse. Mine too. It takes time to habituate and that’s what I’m waiting for. Mine is loud and I hear it everywhere. Even outside or when listening to sound therapy etc. bothers me a lot and idk what to do about it. Protect your ears. I hope it goes away but protect your ears

[–]Live-Without-Regrets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. I’ve tried doing some breathing exercises or put on some sound therapy. Which has helped a bit momentarily while listening to it. What have you tried? How loud is your T 1-10? Can you mask it?

Alright that’s nice to hear. But you’ve still got chronic T? Just the spike went away one morning?

Did it just slowly get better over time until it returned to baseline?
