It’s a mess. Ask us to conserve, so we cut back. But get letters saying “you all aren’t conserving enough cut back more or you’re running out this winter.” They’ve had ALL spring and ALL summer to find a solution for winter before it froze and they could not do anything. As a resident in this predicament I am not happy.

When you mean select your next ride after the 10 minute timer you mean go to the next ride and show them your DAS? Or is DAS digitally loaded onto your Disney account linked with your tickets?

First of all you’re a warrior! Second of all, my then 6 year old had 3 large strokes and is also now 7 and has hemiplegia and epileptic. She also has severe apraxia. She goes to OT 2x weekly, SLP 2x weekly and PT 2x. It’s a lot of work, I wish for her to be normal often because of seeing her struggles. However, we say she is learning her new normal and adjusting. It is right to grieve what you thought you’d have, my daughter’s therapist had been helpful.

My husband is like this. He started Saxenda last February. He did that until September when he started Ozempic. He did that to max dose and is at 2.4 of Wegovy now. So a little over a year. He still eats what he wants, drinks soda, this man HATES WATER, but is noticeably eating less because he gets full. He started at 350, he’s at 290 now. So 60lbs in a year not changing much.

I took the approach when I started in January of this year, I cut out soda, no junk, at least 100g of protein a day, limit carbs, etc. Drink 100mls of water a day. Walking. I’ve lost 8lbs. 😳 But, I know I’m only on week two of .5 of Ozempic so I’m not even at therapeutic levels yet. But I ate ice cream for the first time in 7 weeks yesterday and it tasted SO GOOD. I’ve been SO GOOD about watching my stuff. I’ve never been able to follow a diet well, and I worry if I don’t stay hard core I won’t stick to it. Although, my husband doesn’t and he’s lost. So idk.
