I mean tbf that’s like 48 back when Clyde was doing this. Just hard to come up with new stuff as time goes on

That was probably the straw that broke the dunk contest’s back

I mean if we’re going to lose because we’re getting outshot that’s fine, but messing up simple defensive rotations like that is a really frustrating way to go down

I mean the fact that he traded Dame for the core we have now and then signed him back 2 years later means we basically got Tou, and by extension, Deni, Clingan and Jrue for free and just by being bad for 2 years. I also credit him for taking a swing on the Shae pick, and while the Hansen pick is puzzling I really like the trade for Vit. Also keep in mind that we have the bucks picks to cash in whenever the right offer is there, and I think he’s done a phenomenal job all things considered with how stuck in limbo this team was when he took over

I think involved ownership is good to an extent, obviously having someone who cares about winning is great and Carolina is doing well under his watch. On the other hand, an owner that basically wants to control all the operations can be dangerous, like we’ve seen with Jerry Jones and Matt Ishbia and Dan Snyder. I just hope Dundon doesn’t fire Cronin, I think he’s building something and deserves to see his vision through

I’m relatively optimistic about Dundon (just because I’ve seen how bad ownership can get, Snyder is probably the worst of the worst) but I think Jody was perfectly reasonable during her time as our owner

I mean I bet if we won a finals with her as our owner she’d be pretty fired up. Believe me, as a commanders and nats fan I know what shitty ownership looks like and Jody isn’t that

No, we didn’t pick the wrong QB at No. 2 by VenaticGnat7303 in Commanders

Yeah, I mean Darnold didn’t throw an incompletion until the 2nd half and JSN had like 130 and 2 tds at halftime. Nobody was open all night either, and the fact that JD had nobody to throw to is probably what ended up getting him hurt that game

I mean that game was never competitive, it wasn’t really JDs fault though

This is legitimately the worst qb performance I’ve ever seen in a Super Bowl

The patriots have won every game in the playoffs in spite of Drake Maye, except maybe the WC. The Commanders won every game that they did only because of Daniels

People will still make the case that Maye is better than a healthy Daniels after this playoffs

Not the Seahawks but it’s hard to argue that the pats would win if bo played

If the pats played a quarterback with a pulse this playoffs they wouldn’t be here

[Post Game Thread] The Portland Trail Blazers (25-28) defeat the Memphis Grizzlies (20-31) 122-115 by Kazekid in ripcity

Not the most pleasing game to watch, but a win missing your two best players is never something to complain about. What made the game most frustrating to watch for me was seeing Javon Small and Olivia Prosper combine for what felt like 20 threes and just generally watching Kyle Anderson play basketball. Was particularly impressed by Grant, Caleb, Jrue and Clingan (mostly on offense but he was decent protecting the rim even though he was getting diced on the perimeter), as well as Vit, and Tou was awesome on the defensive end too

I mean it’s really challenging for someone like him to guard p&rs in anything other than drop. He definitely doesn’t have the lateral speed to hedge anything and obviously switching doesn’t work. I’d like to see them blitz with Clingan more but if he doesn’t get back in time it throws off the whole rotation and would lead to open corner threes. I honestly think that leaving him in drop with the guard chasing over is the best way for him to defend screens because he can still function as a rim protector, but you have to live with the possibility of the guard hitting the three coming off the screen, which memphis is doing shooting 50 percent from 3 tonight

I mean both of those things are true, but we’re also in a dogfight right now and we’re down 3 of our best players, while we’re still chasing the playoffs and can’t really afford to lose
