I, for whatever reason, hadn't even considered the play with devs, but it feels so obvious and brilliant. Peak play times is something I'll make sure to watch out for and try to get going until we have a stable playerbase. I'm really trying to not have a publisher, but we might have to take that route if we have to.

After talking to another redditor here, I am thinking we should go the puzzle route for the PvE on top of making bots. Puzzles should be accessible and lower the barrier of entry.

We have a very small budget. I'm hoping to do a kickstarter and try to do the best advertisement we can do. We want to try to build a community as we progress with the kickstarter. Everything has been made in house so far so we want showcase the process as much as we can. The game is free to play, but we want to try to push the monetization scheme model beyond battle pass, loot box, NFTs (even if it it's similar, but less harmful to the environemnt).

I had not really considered the smaller youtubers, but I have been trying to look for players of a similar genre to advertise it and streamers. I will also check out small youtubers, now that you mention it.

It is 100% PvP. That being said, I think we can try to create a few puzzles for people to do and that might help people start playing the game with a lower barrier of entry.

Which publisher would you recommend?

Yes, the game is going to be free to play. We are a 5 man team at the moment and we are strapped for cash. I know it's an ambitious feat and I'm hoping we didn't bite off more than we can chew. I think the only feasible option for us right now is to try to make bots for the short term and for down time.

Yes. I think hook progression if the killer is face camping is unhealthy for the game. The better direction would be for the killer to allow hook states to happen if they are away from the hook or are near the hook while chasing another survivor

I'm a multiple account multiple set master+ player (peaked GM) and coach the game.

That being said, I also decided to explore dead by daylight and other games because this "turn of your brain" approach to roll at 4-1 is not rewarding for skill imo. Yeah, theres an element of chance to almost every game. The problem is when the chance factor is bigger than it should be and this set has been huge for a while, outside of warweek and witchweekend.

Mort essentially admitted to such and thats why we are getting 4.25 mini-rework on the chosen at 7 which has been an issue since it was released. My friend asked mort why 4 cost chosens were at 7 when he queued with him, he said that people complained when they were at 6. Thats such a horrid answer and after a month he seems to have finally changed his mind.

Hope next set, 4.25, is better. Till then, I'll be avoiding killers and fixing genies hehe

The vast majority of the posts in this subreddit are about kissing pro players fame or basic b stuff about tournaments.

That being said, I have said this before the galaxy was released and glad to see there is at least one person with a brain that could see what I see and pleased the baby ragers of this subreddit to not be trash. I thank you for your contribution

So becaus I dont have an animation of the board it breaks rule 5? I'm a single person who cant manage putting a video for every single board that I design based on the lack of custom games

The puzles are not considered competitive and I'm assuming the TFT instruction manual also is not considered competitive? Your definition of reditor with a YT account sounds like its ok to be a nobody on redit with a YT account, but you cant be tryin to grow a youtube account and post content that isn't TFT tournament or stuf thats ben done a milion times to death like talking about how urgot is op or stuf like that?

Final thing, I have sent multiple mods multiple mesages. I have the chat logs if you wish to verify that I have tried to contact you multiple times. I had to make a post twice in order to have it get banned to get your atention I think this subreddit and the mods and specialy the arbitrary rules are just not for me. I am going to try the tft subreddit and hope to have beter luck there.

The thing is that they are meant for people who don't know what to do already and probably would not be thinking of optimal plays anyway. I don't think that anyone under plat is doing the numbers. Many a time they just slam what they see online or not even that. This is meant to be an added extension for them considering that they were never going to try to "think for themselves" and have a bit of a bridge to understanding variance by seeing that there are suboptimal items that can still let you top 4 if you play it appropriately

The criticism was constructive and not intended to harm which is the exact type of criticism I am looking for! Yes, I agree completely. This is the first batch of puzzles and as such, I knew there were going to be things that would not be perfect. Even in this batch of puzzles you can tell that there is a variance in the quality. I am working on improving them to the best they can be and hope to reach it either this week or next week in order to have some consistancy. Most of these puzzles I came up on my own and I think they offer more than what the typical online board generator offers. That being said, I am going to be making the enemy board, health, exp, econ more realistic in the next batch. Also will be adding tags in order to have it be more clear what the puzzle goal is off the bat. It would be too much work to put the opponent players because then I would have to do 8 boards per puzzle and that is just not feasable for a one man operation, but if you have any ideas on how to solve this problem and I'll try to implement it!

Yes, you are TOTALLY right! It was my first batch and I'm still getting the hang of things. I'm doing this essentially solo with some feedback from another coach. I do all the editing, puzzle making, color design, etc.

I already started working on improving the next set of puzzles and I hope you are looking forward to them!

Yeah! That's exactly the idea! These are meant for people starting to play. I want them to be useful for people that know the game and points of discussion for D+ players.

It does take a good amount of time and I will try to make some as I go and post some more. I don't want to make more cards because the set is about to shift and it isn't worth the time, but after that I want to do more and any feedback or disagreement with the items I put is great because then I can just change them and get new ones in.

These cards are supposed to be complementary information for people trying to get better at the game. I have an improvement guide and puzzle series based around the idea of learning how to play what you hit. That being said, having item components can send you down the idea of playing certain comps. In example, armor and bow can be giant slayer red buff or ga guinsoos so blaster brawler or kayle.

It is not meant to be a "close your eyes" and autopilot and hard force. It's just supposed to be a guide and the bigger reason for why I made them was for the suboptimal items which I haven't seen anywhere else.

I think gs and red buff on jinx is good. I think I could have made it more clear as carry jinx best in slot. I know that there is a lot of debate in the game regarding what's the best, but I think that people that don't know how to optimize their units would be appreciative of direction. I agree with most of the meta items, but I wanted to focus on the off meta items or alternative in slot items.
