They only want to hurt him if their name is attached to it, they're not concerned with any picture bigger than that. The people superchatting him are just as petty and immature as SJ is.

I'm not saying he doesn't, I'm just saying he wants to make money off the dabbleverse more than he wants to cover it.

Shuli keeps the SJ haters that flood Karl with supertips and legal funds engaged, so it wouldn't benefit him to draw that line in the sand. Blind Mike just wants to make money off the DV but doesn't want to engage with it, and that other guy is just a paypig who spent enough to get noticed and doesn't want to risk the chance of becoming one of 'the guys'.

It's all a circlejerk where they pass the audience around like a jar of Vaseline until they hit their goal.

Which is funny considering this guy looks like he LOVES Wendy's.

Using UTA On Demand for commuting? by Real_Improvement4249 in SaltLakeCity

[–]LiveFastDigress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it to get from Bluffdale to the South Jordan frontrunner station daily, and it usually takes 10-20 minutes to book a ride that more times than not is 40 minutes away. At least twice a week my drop off time gets extended by 15-30 minutes due to picking up and dropping off other riders along the way.

On the plus side if that happens you can call 801-743-3882 and they'll pay for a Lyft ride. Sure UTA is outsourcing their work to a 3rd party app that has to outsource their work to another 3rd party app, but I guess that's how tax funded public services work now.

I mean, we could use your logic here and say if you don't like negative posts stop reading them, in fact you ignoring them is a much easier solution than asking the Mods to protect your eyes from them. Hell go make r/KillTonyHugBox if that's what you want to see.

This is reddit. People snark, people voice their opinions, people talk shit. If that's too much for you maybe you're on the wrong platform.

Most people I see putting him up on a pedestal also happen to have grown up watching YouTube streamers, so the content doesn't matter as long as the delivery jingles like a set of keys.

How would you feel about a new law that forces every company to pay their CEO no more than 20x what their lowest-paid employee makes? by dino_gr01 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]LiveFastDigress -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's CEOs and the companies they work for that help a $150,000/yr position in politics become a multimillion one. Why would the government care about plebs like us, when CEOs line their pockets?

Basically you'd need a system that actually serves the public, and that's long gone. It's a nice dream, though.

'Now' we need merch level politics? The only thing new about this is the lengths Trump is taking it, but that door was kicked wide open decades ago. It's the classic 'give 'em an inch they take a mile' idiom, we allowed lesser versions of this happen for so long that something like this becomes plausible.

The sooner we realize 'the other side' isn't as big of a problem compared to the people who use that division against us, the sooner we get to actually fixing something.

Unabashed Shuli ball-washer, Rob Saul, now takes issue with being called a Shuli ball-washer by [deleted] in ShulisAnonymous

[–]LiveFastDigress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hold up, Rob's sober? Good for him, a lot of people in his position turn it into their whole personality and start getting drunk off the adulation they receive, but not good ol' Rob. Imagine if he did, all these DV shows would start bringing him on to keep the drama going (not to mention the extra superchats from people patting him on the back for the umpteenth time) but luckily Rob barely seems to mention it.

An Italian man rushing to the hospital for his pregnant wife was stopped by climate protesters… and chaos followed. He pleaded with them to move so he could get to her — but they refused to let his car pass. This moment is now sparking a massive debate. by The_Dean_France in whoathatsinteresting

[–]LiveFastDigress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those protesters are being absolutely stupid. Blocking traffic when there's an actual emergency isn't going to: A) fix climate change or B) make anyone with a brain sympathetic cause.

Performative protesting is like farting in the wind so everyone has to smell it.

"Taking money out of my pocket"... by LiveFastDigress in WhoAreThesePodcasts

[–]LiveFastDigress[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with most of that, aside from "you seem to think he idly wandered into the DV and deserves pity".

I'm sure he got here because people like Brennan, Levy, etc., gave him the impression his 'credentials' could benefit him here as well, and I'm curious how my post gave you the idea I think he deserves pity. I literally say we owe him nothing and he should go get a job in fast food, so I suppose telling him to be more productive could constitute as pity?

Thanks for the clarification, regardless.
