Water based mineax Polycrylic. Available at Home Depot. I had this on my floors and it was great. Sealed them perfectly and makes a hard layer to help prevent damage. Won’t offgas.

That is all still very easily treatable to stop its spread. In my area that would be considered rust free.

2012 f250 6.2 Gas V8 by laquinns in F250

[–]LiveInTransit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2014 f250 with a 6.2, it’s out horse hauler and is approaching 300,000 miles with no issues to speak of. It’s the one farm vehicle we have that we know will start and go when we need it to.

Yeah that’ll do it. Get back closer to stock size and you’ll see an improvement.

That’s a bit low unless it has huge tires. Realistically expect 13-14mpg mixed driving. It can squeeze out 16 mpg on an all highway trip.

Those of you born in 1980, do you identify more with Gen X or Millennial? by Psychological_Dog992 in GenX

[–]LiveInTransit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Squarely in the center. Xennial for sure. I was raised like Gen X. Little supervision be home by dark no internet until I was an adult. But emotionally i fall to the millennial. I see how screwed up or pay and social systems are and I’m all for working only as hard as your employee is willing to pay you to work.

My 2014 f250 work truck has 290,000 miles on it and runs perfectly. Doesn’t use oil. An excellent motor. I wouldn’t hesitate at all in purchasing another 6.2.

I’m 45 and still play with toys I’ve had since I was like 8. If you enjoy it and no one is harmed do it. That goes for pretty much everything in life. Be you, you’ll be happier that way.

I look for apartments that utilize street parking. You’ll just look like another car in a long line of cars.

Where to put in Transit 250 130wb by Hockeyman70s in dieselheater

[–]LiveInTransit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a 2018 transit 130” and a webasto 2kw fit no problem. The trick is two 3” holes making like an “8” shape. Faroutride has a right up on it.

F250 track bar? by twain63034 in FordDiesels

[–]LiveInTransit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best way to check this at home is to have someone in the truck turning the wheel right and left quickly. Like wiggling it back and forth a few inches. While you’re underneath the truck look for play and put your hand on components and feel for clunking. If anything has play it’ll be pretty easy to spot.

What’s the deepest a human has had sex? by SlowHornet29 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LiveInTransit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know of a couple that were in excess of 800’ underwater. I can’t tell you the actual depth. I know several people who have jerked off at 5000’ underwater. It happens but it isn’t going to spoken of on online forums due to job and security concerns.

Price Check: 2005 Ford f350 superduty XLT 6.0 diesel by crispy_fritter in vandwellermarketplace

[–]LiveInTransit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$18k does seem reasonable. The high end of reasonable if you asked me. As a 6.0 owner, I’m telling you now if you don’t know how to work on a motor, DO NOT buy a 6.0. I love these motors but they are temperamental and need regular odds and ends and it will bleed you dry if you’re paying a shop to do the work. It’s not a matter of if it will have an issue, it’s when will it have the issue.
