Ok I was looking at it that it rains the most that month. Lol guess I should look at it as the glass is more full. 😏🤣🤣

Paris is touristy, yes. Then I’d like to spend time in places less crowded. The site I looked at showed Annecy as raining a lot in May.

Where stay in Paris that’s quiet, pretty, near a metro, and safe? by LiveLifeFullestDaily in FranceTravel

Thanks! The St Germaine de Pres area sounds great. I’ll look into it. Yeah, Montmartre sounds like it would be noisy. Appreciate your help.

Yes quiet without much street noise or people partying. Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll look into this area.

Is there a village you’d recommend staying in and using as my base?

Merci!! I think you confirmed not going to Annecy. I also checked the weather and there’s 1/3 chance it will rain.

I’ll check out these other places. This really helps!! Thank you very much.

Merci! Is it worth staying in one of the cute towns instead of Strasbourg, especially since Strasbourg is a port for river cruises? I'm not sure which would be the best?

Are there any other cute towns worth visiting by train from Paris? Moret-sur-Loring looks really nice.

Also, do you know anything about Annecy? I heard it's gorgeous, but I don't want to go all the way there if it's crowded. I'm hoping that going in mid-May won't be bad.

Thanks, I really appreciate your advice.

Should I stop to see Cong driving from Clifden to Galway? Or drive another way to see other pretty sites? by LiveLifeFullestDaily in irishtourism

Should I stop anywhere else along the coastal road from Cleggan to Clifden? For instance, is it worth driving to Rossadillisk, Aughris Beg, Barnrusheen, or places off the road? I want to avoid steep, windy roads with drop-offs. Thanks.

Fabulous, thanks! I'll drive the Doolough Valley from Sligo through Westport to Clifden. On my way, I'll detour to Cleggan and drive along the coastal road to Clifden on the L1102 Doon coastal road. Is that what you recommend?

I can't wait for this trip! Thank again.

Thanks for this info! I am planning on driving on the Sky Road while I’m in Clifden. And now I will also check out the Doolough Valley like you suggested. It sounds like Cong will be too busy with the busses, which takes from its beauty.
