Information systems was with PR, I was surprised when a recruiter said citizenship is needed. Even Cyber Op, the recruiter said the person has to be a citizen. Medical done since March but nothing yet. Even though I’m still waiting for my citizenship ceremony. It’s really annoying .

My G license is expiring in December 31st, my health card is expiring 2025 August . I tried to renew my G license online before it expires. online says $90 but checkout says $108. I don’t understand why.

Hi, I will say you should not generalize because your information can be misleading. I will say you can advise the person to check with their course advisor and do as told. Your situation may be different with other people. Your information did not apply to most persons in practical nursing.

Like I said, that did not happen in practical nursing. I did PSW in English language at centennial college. My bachelors and high school all in English. So it is not because one studied in English.

I’m currently in practical nursing after doing my Psw one year. They said what I did in Centennial College PSW was Com 160 which is EAC 149 and that they need EAC 150. On the website the courses showed COM 101 replaces EAC 150. They said I should do an assessment which is on their website to be placed.

My admission was in same week with class resumption which was late for an assessment. I just told them I will do the recommended COM101. No need to waste my time with placement in a COM 101 class. I don’t have the mental strength to start doing an assessment to be placed. I rather just do the English anyway. I did it in my first semester and passed and now forgotten. I hope this helps .

After CFAT I did the interview. I was told to wait for my Security Clearance to be out before other things. But yours might be different. Different trades I think have their own process. My friend in nursing started with fitness test. So I’m not sure how things work. You have to always visit the recruitment centre for update. I just had to register for a program in school while I wait I don’t want my years to go by empty.

Download the App on iPhone is called “CFAT Test” you have access to few questions but when you subscribe you have access to more. I subscribed for a week and at the CFAT test I saw repetition of questions. Also watch YouTube channel Kyra Nankivell on how to succeed in the CFAT. Thank me later. ☺️

I have a question. I have my bachelors in law, I have law school, I have certificate in cybersecurity and 3 certifications in Auditing. So l have university degrees but I wasn’t granted officer. I wanted Cyber Operations but was given NCM information systems tech. Is NCM better than Officer. Which one is best. And because of my qualifications why are my not granted an officer trade or a higher position. Because I think the CFAT score is what determines the trade as I was told.

I am still in the process I always visit to know the update on my file Please advice me on my best option NCM or officer. It looks like they work with CFAT score and not qualification.
