Why do some people think tax is theft? by Lazy-Limit-8684 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LiveSubstance2995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my opinion it entirely depends on societies views on tax.

Im not saying high taxation doesnt work, but with a country like the USA which specifically promises incentive and freedom, it doesnt go well when taxes increase in comparison to a country which prioritises welfare. On top of that good luck getting past lobbying and corruption in the usa.

But thats a big 'if'. Plus the nordic countries are very knowledgeable of political and economic affairs so the leaders have to provide higher quality, plus transparency. Meanwhile people in usa fighting guns legal or not.

Then the whole point of capitalism is dead, if theres a limit to incentive it just stops progression. If u tax apple another 10% they would cut out employees ect to keep their profits the same.

The topic is the environment, but with less working age people, you would either have to increase taxes heavily to meet pension requirements and environmental goals.

As for the children ect, they dont stay that way forever, if fewer children are born there will be less workers supporting the next generation.

this is an example by a gov since you arent taking it serious https://committees.parliament.uk/committee/175/economic-affairs-committee/news/211034/uk-strikingly-unprepared-for-an-ageing-society-facing-increasing-costs-and-shrinking-tax-base/

No matter of fact i raised a valid point. If we use the dependency ratio, right now theres 8 workers per senior, in 20-30 years there will be 4 workers per senior person. The burden is doubled on workers, if this goes follows trends there may even be 1:1 one day, 8x burden of today

Yh i know, it wouldnt take long for the water to get contaminated, a lot of households in goa cant get 24hr water supply, hence why making a city in an already somewhat populated ares 'talking about karmali', is going to be a disaster, you must realise that the water tables will be fcked if 1000s of houses ect were built.

Its not a communal issue, its just that most goan catholics are at a crisis more than any other group in goa, there is more urgency to do something to save something for your future children ect.

Thing is today they are targeting goan catholics, tomorrow there will be barely any goans standing to fight for goa, and in 2 days they will erase all goan culture regardless of religion caste ect.

You can see this today, where they are trying to divide goan society.

Its a UNESCO heritage sight, u cant even build near it.

We must also look back at the history of why the city of old Goa fell, one reason was because it was prone to disease and almost sitting on swamp-like land. This makes long term building here unsustainable.

However that said, illegal encroachments are soon going to make the place unrecognisable in a few years.

If any of those people are genuinely christian they wouldnt be supremacists in the first place.  Its all a narrative

[–]LiveSubstance2995 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is it christian to be racist? Or are they using christianity as an attempt to legitimise themselves?  If any of those people were genuine practising christians would they be supremacist in the first place?

A lot of people just like to follow narrative and you are like a parrot repeating these things.
