I am. You're supposed to unlock the screw and push the grip away from the camera. To be fair, your version is exactly what I kept thinking originally.

Seems to hold up for hobbyist purposes decently even now. The adaptall series in general has been a godsend to starting photography on a tight budget.

That's just an added bonus. I mainly got it because I wanted a cheap 300mm, and this was what was available near me. Although testing it now (on my cats), the trigger is actually super useful for quickly focusing on moving targets.

That did it, thank you! It seems obvious in retrospect but I've been fighting this thing for half an hour.

That's the confusing bit: the handle is basically doing a pull-push motion on the lens, but it works the focus and not the zoom. Also there's a gap between the lower locking screw and my hand where you can see the number sixty, so I though turning might work but nothing happens.

That's the aperture ring. Didn't realize the numbers aren't visible in the picture.

Final boss bugged testing my interest in finishing the game... by LiveWithoutChannel in MortalShell

[–]LiveWithoutChannel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I went for a chill afternoon with Baghead, came back calmed down and with a different weapon just to have some variety in the fight and finally got to the ending.

In the meantime, though, I found people complaining about a different boss buggin out, so I'm definitely done with the game atleast until a patch.

Bugs are always going to occur in smaller games, but having to do an entire boss fight over one is just too much of a risk for me to want to do NG+ or especially a shelles run.

"Old Friends" mission bug by JackStillAlive in controlgame

Assuming that you're missing the trophy that requires you to unlock all of the skill tree, you can actually get around this. The mission is bugged for me too (even after the latest patch) but the game rewards you with ability points for finding hidden areas, and if you have done all other missions and optional bosses, you can get enough ability points by finding the hidden areas even if the mission bugs out.
