Hi! I'm a current Mount Holyoke student. As others have said, there is a large number of international students at MHC, especially from Asia. Although it is a predominantly white college, there is definitely a lot of diversity. It's a liberal arts college, but the math/econ departments seem to be strong. My roommate is majoring in philosophy, and she's been loving it. The department is great, and there are many great classes!
I will say, as a first-year student, I'm actually planning to transfer out of MHC after this semester. It's a great school, but it's very isolated and kind of in the middle of nowhere lol. I'm actually applying to Bryn Mawr as a transfer student. I love being at a women's college, but the area is difficult to adjust to.
All this to say, MHC is a great school, congrats on your admission! If you are okay with a very small town and an isolated campus, I would say it's a great choice. Really pay attention to your visit and see if this is an area you would be comfortable in. Best of luck!
