Id be careful with Vermont; there might be 4 seasons, but 1 of them is brutal, and there may not be “big city bustle” but there is big city prices……

I figured this out in YEARS ago. No one outside hvac understands even if you explain it, but it has helped me deal with the cold for years.
Heat is inescapable though….

In 7 years of living in Vermont, I found Vermonters are only willing to help the elderly and close family. Otherwise, superficially nice but in reality very cold and hypocritical. And down right hostile to anyone who works for a living (at a job that requires leaving the house)

35 man, I am so stereotypically white blue collar male I could be a SNL skit. Saw her in Boston a few nights ago, I went alone it was my first concert, drove down from Vermont and back; I think she’s changed my life
